[gentoo-dev] Gentoo - Google Summer of Code (GSoC)

Hello All,

The registration period for Google Summer of Code is coming up soon. To continue on with running Gentoo Summer of Code we need some assistance with the project. 

The following roles are needed:

1. Admin Role - To help run the project I need co-admins to help run the project. Google requires a minimum of two administrators for the project. 

2. Mentors.- Last year we got four slots allocated to us by Google and ran a successful project, we are looking for mentors to be able to help mentor the applicants, and run the projects. 

If you are interested in any or both of these please let me know.

I can be an admin.

I would consider mentoring but it's all proposal dependent.

Hello All,

I am trying to follow up and see if anyone is interested in becoming a mentor. 

This is the last request I am sending as so far we only have two people willing to mentor and it is project dependent. 

Do we have any other volunteers as I want to make sure that we have a few mentors being able to mentor. At the current stage we will be unable to participate in this years GSoC if we are unable to get a bigger pool of potential mentors.

There are only 2 days left. If you are interested please let me know ASAP.

I'm happy to volunteer to mentor! I've taken a bit of GSoC hiatus from
Gentoo, but mentored GSoC projects from the Jenkins community recently.

Yes, I'm willing to help mentor. I've mentored more than 5 students
between multiple projects over the lifetime of GSoC.

I have missed the 2-day deadline.  But I would like to mentor 1 project
this year.
