There is a similar tendency in the tags thread to aim for the revolutionary and elegant solution for everything when we basically just need some search keywords to get started... I think we're generally aiming for perfection when we should be prag= matic. The proposed solution isn't ideal, but is workable and I think t= hat further improvement should wait until systemd/etc is mainstream (if eve= r).
