It would be really nice if there were a step-by-step guide for doing various types of build tests on a vm of some kind. Bonus points if we can somehow logically split up a whole-tree build into segments based on dependencies and run them on parallel instances. :) Of course, that will miss unexpected automagic dependencies and collisions.
