I would be very interested in the same. I'm currently involved in setting up
an "off-line mirror" for a open source center in Uganda. Bandwidth is
definitly third-world there (32kb max).
Plan is to ship harddisks to and fro by snail-mail on a quarterly basis. Any
tools helpfull in assembling a usefull dist-file image would be most welcome.
