Subject: [gentoo-dev] name of apache package
Date: Sat Aug 25 15:15:02 2001 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <998781330.29705.24.camel@zoidberg> (raw)
Hi!
Is there a special reason for the naming of the apache package
'apache-ssl'. This doesn't conform with the rest of the package-tree.
We don't name xchat 'xchat-ssl' just to show that it can be built with
ssl-support.
I think that the apache-package should be renamed to 'apache' and be
controlled by USE-flags whether or not to build with ssl-support.
Regards,
Mikael Hallendal
