Hey all,

with the only member of VDR project gone, the project is currently
essentially empty.

Please join the project to keep it alive. We may have some help through
the proxy-maint project, but someone with immediate commit access is
always better.

If no one joins the project, the packages (and eclass) are bound to be
reassigned.

as I already have taken care about many packages from the vdr project, I
will continue to do so.

Is there any progress on the discussion about [gentoo-project] RFC:
"Trusted contributor model"?

Meanwhile I continue to wait for an answer on my email to
recruiters@gentoo.org from november 2019.....

I wasn't part of recruiters back then, so if the e-mail you refer to has
been unanswered, please re-send it. But I do see I've given you two
replies to a mail which was sent to recruiters in november 2019 with me
in cc. I'd say my replies still stands to this day.

The status for "Trusted contributor model": I haven't given up, but it
seems technically harder than I had anticipated. It's still something
I'm pursuing on free time.

I think it makes no sense to have another group between proxied 
maintainers and developers with commit bit.
