I just noticed that libxml++ 0.21 went into portage. I had a look at this
ebuild to compare it to:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14121
I'm curious on a few points:
1) Why hardcode an SF mirror instead of mirrors://sourceforge
2) Whats the use of src_compile() which only contains econf and email -- I
thought that was default?
3) Can the src_install() be augmented with the two dosym()s as described in
#14121 attachment #7892? Some apps look for libxml++.a and by default
libxml++ installs libxml++-1.0.a (at least version 0.20 did).
Thank you. I suppose #14121 can also be marked closed.
