I saw a message reporting a similar problem a few days ago, but no
followup. Has anonymous CVS access to gentoo.org been turned off on
purpose, or is it simply down by mistake? My CVS updates from
:pserver:anonymous@gentoo.org:/home/anoncvs have been failing for
approximately one week now.

Is the person responsible for the servers paying attention
here? This makes two services that have been reported
unavailable. The other, forums, was reported a few days ago.
Enough time to get it back up or at least post a message as
to why it's going to take a while.
