There are quite a few news items that appear to be no longer relevant.

All gone.

Would it be reasonable to use the same schedule as for profiles/updates
in future, namely to remove everything older than 5 years? Of course,
that shouldn't stop anyone from removing a news item earlier if it has
become irrelevant.

Hi Ulrich!

Unless blueness has something to say I think we can drop
"2017-08-19-hardened-sources-removal" too. Hardened sources has been
gone since December 2018 and the package has been masked since August 2017.
