My old GPG is expiring soon, and I've decided to just set up a new one.
Please use the new key for all future correspondence.
See attached key-transition.txt.asc for a transition statement signed
with both keys. You can verify it using the following command:
gpg --verify key-transition.txt.asc
This e-mail is the last one I intend to send with the old key.
Paweł

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
Date: February 8, 2014
My old GPG is expiring soon, and I've decided to just set up a new one. Please
use the new key for all future correspondence.
This message is signed by both keys to certify the transition.
The old key was:
pub 1024D/0xB9442D9430427902 2009-08-05
Key fingerprint = 6E4B FE7A 4732 5D4B 04D3 57C6 B944 2D94 3042 7902
And the new key is:
pub 4096R/0x4F1A2555EA71991D 2014-02-08
Key fingerprint = C69F 2F01 C288 E473 8CD2 33AD 4F1A 2555 EA71 991D
To fetch the full key from a public key server, you can simply do:
gpg --keyserver hkp://ipv4.pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-key 0x4F1A2555EA71991D
If you already know my old key, you can now verify that the new key is
signed by the old one:
gpg --check-sigs 0x4F1A2555EA71991D
If you don't already know my old key, or you just want to be double
extra paranoid, you can check the fingerprint against the one above:
gpg --fingerprint 0x4F1A2555EA71991D
