An alternative description would be: static-libs - Build static versions of dynamic libraries as well that makes clear that a) it's about _additionally_ installing static libraries and b) there is a dynamic "counterpart" of that library This is often a confusing topic for new ebuild writers. The description might help with that too. Are there any known exceptions that would need a local description after this change? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJSvx7tAAoJEFpvPKfnPDWzUS0H/1LgHNTV7QtelcVAtaYOr3Pl R7fjlS7JUvsWt8LPeoDPedT2pGzb5Jw14gaVw7Wcva6QFxhPaCje0nAfo2LOZskc /212TS2TH4nW0S4AXls0w5/eJZqE7ssl70Fo9zOKhhpY3GRCpCNoXRZRqrvu4611 3u6dzacQJmYowQM0hXkd72hQnQVMw37prLUNv/zxKWwlcnfwKYOSG5voZMTVhZsF 1FWq/zdHISSjopFynhNp5nKFnfltDNssKJUHWs84E6f7AF0Nkz0VDKY7MobI8K8v Iw/Nuo+mxiUk6ezMuGq3EDsVAecYjdpj8TdCCcEcDtAGKrC8uCwYloWs+60lMkw= =mfTc -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
