Speaking as a long time Gentoo user: I like this idea of displaying an elog summary reminder at the end of emerge. It's analogous to the preserved-rebuild, blocker, and failed emerge notices that are already there. There are insanely useful - emerge inside screen, reconnect later and just know the important stuff I need to tend to is right there on the screen. If possible I'd like to see categories of messages; some are pointless to me now like the mention of the kernel upgraded guide after installing kernel sources.
