Package removed. If package is broken, upstream is dead/unresponsive and nobody wants or can fix it - yeah, it will be treecleaned. Sooner or later. If you, as user, want to use package that does not fullfill minimum QA requirements, nobody can stop your from installing it from your local overlay. You can not rely on support through bugzilla from that moment, but if package was removed because lack of maintainership it does not matter, does not it? Main tree is not place for dead AND(not or, and!) not working packages. --=20 Best regards, Sergey Popov Gentoo Linux Developer Desktop-effects project lead ------enig2FSTNLPDHIWJXJJFCOUHB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJRT+3FAAoJECo/aRed9267/ekIAJsQM9Z9yrvfbawPPGXKzJ+U HQO5R4UYKsJHkn+NpXAJU5SjoWwSqwoNIuYXwULVvGDOcmuHLehrpaYkh1SiERl/ wR0lzzytu2hBOAZukSpl2YtECrHeRscv21zxcfvdqGWwTgxTSBhwouHIa0Sl4Ju+ aeNeD2c5hzYpJy8v5aCuWgIddP+XDtVWWj+Pu2Ta8SJD37MWwhQvtNtqT+243dih EDDWh5a/yGarZv3QJTpO7dfwTedVU5Ay1QU5Z0NqPJ2t5EqaLQtDPljOQkX8O4WV O7nNZZnHqXApJ388/eHsy5Z+u3eKS3Tk/+UJP4euLMhR8q+yLO7XQVDzfFtrQYo= =QhYM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------enig2FSTNLPDHIWJXJJFCOUHB--
