Peter, I'll ask simply, and politely: stop being a nuisance, especially since you can't be bothered to become a developer (not that I would like to have you among the developers, honestly; I'd gladly take a few more mgornys beside you). This policy has been around for a very long time, and will be kept around. It's not going to change, because it makes no sense for it to change. It might be inconvenient to _you_, but once again, we're not here to do stuff only when it's convenient. So, please, really please, stop thinking like whatever your experience is, that's the only experience out there.
