Dear community,
as promised during the last council meeting, I've checked the logs and
emails for this council's election[1][2][3][4]. The nominations for this
council started at June 5th, 2010 and the members took office on July
4th, 2010. As such, the election for the 2011/2012 council should take
place next month (in around 2 weeks).
Roy and Robin have already volunteered for being election official and
the infra contact for the upcoming election. So at this point we need 2
other election officials to run the election.
If you are a Gentoo developer and do not plan to run for the election,
please consider helping to run it.
Expect an email from the election officials with more details about the
election in a few days.
