Subject: [gentoo-dev] treecleaner policy change wrt removal date
Date: Fri, 20 Feb 2009 21:43:03 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <499F7847.9020304@gentoo.org> (raw)
Small change:
Effective immediately "30 days notice" is becoming 30-59 days and "60
days notice" is becoming 60-89 days.
Basically, all removal dates are going to be the last day of the month
in whichever month is appropriate. This allows us to process many bugs
at once. You won't see an exact count of days in the package.mask file,
though. Meaning: we will still say "removed in 30 days" but the bugs
will say "Removal date: <last day of month>"
Thanks,
Jeremy
