Joining us from the land of the pyramids, we have Ahmed "b33fc0d3"
Ammar. Although originally from Egypt, nowadays he lives in UK and
studies Computer Engineering there. He will be joining us to help with
Gnome and all sorts of miscellaneous packages. He says he enjoys a good
debate so I think he will make a fine addition to our mailing lists.

Bring it on,
Petteri

As nobody else has welcomed you yet, I'll be the first.

Just don't make code out of Larry, and you'll do fine here.
I think he might object to being b33fc0d3'd.

So are you going to join the hieroglyph i18n team, too?

Welcome, finally! So do you code like an Egyptian? :) 80s pun

For all you that don't know, Ahmed here has a interest in open source
Java. Others pointed me to a icedtea/openjdk ebuild he had in google
development space. It should be hitting an overlay soon, either
java-experiment or java-overlay.

So for all your open source java fetishes, Ahmed is your man. If that's
not throwing him the under the bus and on the barbie afterward. :)

How many here will be old enough to get that? <raises hand, um,
hopefully not too soon cane>

Definitely welcome, then! As a FLOSS-only user I've been waiting for a
decent full open source Java implementation in the tree for awhile, so
anyone and anything that is movement in that direction is certainly
welcome here! =8^)
