Also, this issue has arisen from a change in current policy. Even if Portage and repoman now allow the use of multiple suffixes, the devmanual still states that's illegal - so it's illegal in current policy. Instead of people arguing about a decision to uphold the current policy, I think they should be asking that we have a discussion about the current policy and propose alternatives, like is being done on the bug, and in the end submit it to the council for a voting. - -- Regards, Jorge Vicetto (jmbsvicetto) - jmbsvicetto at gentoo dot org Gentoo-forums / Userrel / Proctors -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGL5HTcAWygvVEyAIRAvNsAJ9FFkIWUbLjmsBHskfaxZbN0Fo7LgCgk5o9 UBuUR5erFfG3rFEktEhNiJ8= =r7Pd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
