I thought GLEP 37 was a way out kind of thing. Like several months if
not a year before it can be done.
Here's a horrible suggestion for if all else fails... have the
monolithic Xorg or xfree ebuilds PROVIDE the modular components. Then
only have modular depends in the tree.
