How does it not work?
Please give more information when describing problems, like "keyboard
layou does not work with xorg-6.8.2" or "extra characters don't work in
Openoffice".

Also, this mailinglist is not the place for bugreports. Please use
bugs.gentoo.org for that.

That is also not precise enough for us to see where the problem comes
from ...

If all else fails, you could copy the configuration files from
Ubuntu :-)

Many thanks for your bugreport, but please use the right places for
reporting bugs.

Good luck in getting it fixed,
Patrick

Mongolian keyboard layout won't work on Gentoo. Initially I used ~x86
version of Gentoo, I thought it's because testing version, and I switched to
x86. But no result. Mongolian keyboard layout works on Ubuntu Hoary, I
yesterday installed. I have no mind about this problem. Any suggestions?

It would be particularly helpful if you attached the differences in the
XKB files between Ubuntu and Gentoo, which you should be able to find at
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/.

Thanks,
