It was entertaining about 3 days ago, when it started. I don't think this is the place for this discussion to be happening. Gentoo is only one small piece of the puzzle. If you can't take a look at the big picture (in regards to autoconf/automake supporting more than one Operating System, let alone more than one linux distribution), please go do some research on UNIX-like operating systems, or even better, take a look at gcc.gnu.org's list of supported architectures: http://gcc.gnu.org/install/specific.html My point is this: there were some very good things said in this thread. At this time, it's a dead horse, so please stop beating it. - -- Allen Parker GPG KeyID: 35544083 GPG FP: E628 7310 DE68 321A 933A 5DD1 C831 005C 3554 4083 infowolfe@irc.freenode.net #/tmp #gentoo-dev #gentoo-hardened infowolfe@irc.oftc.net #vserver -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFAsLj0yDEAXDVUQIMRAnd1AKCCtHcWPUdaUgOjMn4mq/MLAnliSACfdhR1 lfQY+8owKK9PZ46w6Pz9jOw= =bZl4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
