Hi all:
Please download and test the 2004.0 Gentoo Hardened test stages from
your favorite mirror
(http://mirror/experimental/x86/stages/stage*-x86-pie-ssp-20040105.tar.bz2).
The Gentoo Hardened stages use a modified gcc spec file that enables IBM
propolice stack smashing support, as well as PaX's Position Independent
Executable memory protection scheme.

To test these stages, please follow these simple steps:
1. Download
2. Unpack, mount proc, cp /etc/resolv.conf $chroot/etc
3. chroot, env-update, source /etc/profile, emerge sync
4. For stage1: cd /usr/portage; sh scripts/bootstrap.sh; emerge system
~   For stage2: emerge system
~   For stage3: emerge some common programs, etc
