Hi all,

i'am searching for a kernel which support win4lin and some vm
optimizations. Yes there is the win4lin-sources, which are a
vanilla-kernel with the netraverse patches, and there are the
gs-sources, but none of them has support for optimizations like them
from Con Kolivas. Optimal for me would be something like:

vanilla + Con Kolivas (ck) + grsecurity + alsa + [...]

Is there somebody of you knowing a kernel support this?

Thanks for all comments...

Sebastian

Try your luck in one of these threads on the forums:
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=24634
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=37557

Michael

P.S. Hoping not to sound rude, but I think this question would be more
appropriate on -user.

thank you... I already had looked in the forums but nothing found. This
urls don't really help me much more... only descriptions of kernels in
sys-kernels... I have looked throgh my local portage directory and also
have nothing found what match my needs.

This is my reason to post this request to the dev-list :)

Win4Lin support used to also be in xfs-sources but for some reason it
was removed in xfs-sources-2.4.20-r3 ( sad ;-/ ). However, it's still
there in xfs-sources-2.4.20-r2 - that's what I use.

Try the WOLK kernel. It has _EVERYTHING_!
