Hi there

My name is Sebastian aka seezer. I'm from germany,18 years old and using
gentoo cause it's the best ;)
Some friends and I are planning to make a german page for gentoo - with
translations, a german comunity etc.
We have already built up the linux-de.org page for general linux
purposes - and now, our gentoo users want to bring more users too gentoo.
So we are planning to use the domain gentoo-de.org and work together
with the linux-de.org team.
Both teams are already known for the channels #linux.de and #gentoo in
quakenet.

The reason for this mail is, that i wanted to ask you if we're alowed to
do this generaly, to use some gentoo logos - and whatever.

k, i hope to get an answer - and thx for this realy cool distro

bye
    seezer aka Sebastian

I've seen a lot of interest in translations on gentoo.org, anyone who
would like to contribute please send me an email. Also try #gentoo-doc
on openprojects, and there is a documentation mailing list you can join
here:

http://lists.gentoo.org/mailman/listinfo/gentoo-doc

If you are interested in contributing translated documentation read the
xml guide. Let me know if you have any questions.

I don't know about the logos but all the documentation is soon to be
released under the GFDL, so no problems there.
