Subject: [gentoo-dev] man/zsh problems? bug? dircolors is incompatible
Date: Wed, 09 Jan 2002 01:59:43 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <3C3BEA5F.7050108@sympatico.ca> (raw)

Zsh is really a nice shell. But it's not very well supported in Gentoo.

1. The "man" command doesn't seem to work under Zsh.
2. dircolors on my Slackware box has a "-z" switch for Zsh, dircolors in
Gentoo does not. (What ebuild is dircolors a part of?)
3. If I found those problems in a matter of minutes, they probably
aren't the only ones.

Is anyone else using/trying Zsh? How's it going?
Have I just done something wrong? ....
If not, the man issue should definately be a bug. What about the
dircolors issue?

Thanks.
