Hi,
Is there a way we can make MesaGL install libGL.so as libMesaGL.so
instead, because Xfree86 4.0 comes with its own libGL, which causes
problems when programs are expecting to find the Xfree86 version.

xfree comes with mesa 3.4. We have the mesa-glu package that only
installes the
glu/glut stuff. You can use this if you don't want to overwrite xfree's
libs.
