Let's begin... Mounting /proc... Trying /dev/hdc... CD found... Associating loopback CD-ROM filesystem... Success! Success /dev/loop0! Root changed ... --end output The system in question is a Compaq Presario 1247, with a 400MHz AMD K6-2, and 96M of RAM, and 20G IDE. Tried booting with and without my Linksys Etherfast 10/100 PCMCIA card. Previous kernels in the 2.4test series have worked on this machine. --Gabriel
