I have submitted new ebuilds for hk_classes and knoda
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13452 and documentation for them
(hk_docs) http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14205.

They are useful database applications with drivers for mysql, postgresql
and ODBC included.

hk_classes is GUI-independent, while knoda is a KDE3 application. The
hk_docs includes API documentation and tutorials, all in HTML.

Dear All,

I am trying to open or download the ebuild attachments in bugzilla
using konqi. It wants to get the cgi file, rather than the real
ebuild script. How am I supposed to configure konqueror to recognize
and properly execute cgi scripts?!

MAny thanks in advance:

Hi Viktor!

In Control Centre => File Associations, I just searched for *.cgi. It's
listed as type application/x-cgi with no default application except for
embedded KHTML. You could add an application there ... or you could do
what I do and associate text/html with mozilla; it does that job so much
better than konqueror ( and I'm a KDE fan ;-p )

Vikto,
Have you tried to simply save the link location and change the name
from blahblah.cgi to foo-1.0.ebuild ?

I have konq doing similar things to me, but changing the name and saving
the file always results in the attachment ending up on my drive.

The server executes the cgi script. Konqueror only makes a request to
the server. It's probably asking you to save the something like
"xx.cgi?xx...". This is because the content disposition isn't set and
konqui doesn't know what to call it. You'll have to set the filename
yourself.

Yes, if I change the name, I can save the script as what it is (it
is usually a gzipped ebuild), but what if it is not?

It would be nice to get konqi right to offer the right name when
saving the file...

OK, so is it the server side screwed up? So why the "content
disposition" is not set in bugzilla? A bug in bugzilla?!

I looked at some other bugzilla sites and the source code, all set the
"Content-Disposition:" header and it was present in version 2.17.3 of the
bugzilla. Maybe bugzilla on gentoo needs updating? Or someone (didn't see a
reference to the maintainer) could add

	print qq{Content-Disposition: inline; filename=$filename\n};

or something similar to the view function in attachment.cgi.

Cheers,
Russ
