I've started putting some documentation together for this. In order for LDAP to function like NIS, you need a small helper program to grab the auto.master entries from the LDAP directory. The source for this is: http://people.redhat.com/nalin/autofs/autofs-ldap-auto-master.c My question is, what ebuild should this little program slot into?
