Sorry, I like a lot of your ideas but I'm with the others on this one. I have, on the rare occasion, used these flags for various reasons. They don't do any harm for the majority not using them. If someone does encounter issues through using them then they are free to deal with those themselves. Better that than not even having them available in the first place. They are welcome to provide fixes where necessary and maintainers are equally welcome to drop these flags as they see fit. Such a decision should not be forced upon maintainers. --=20 James Le Cuirot (chewi) Gentoo Linux Developer --Sig_/hQlAaSE3u0AG2+JOe7lm0i1 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQKTBAEBCgB9FiEEUo3mvYaRpDkf2i7UIcYyEpxtfeQFAlqhmhhfFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldDUy OERFNkJEODY5MUE0MzkxRkRBMkVENDIxQzYzMjEyOUM2RDdERTQACgkQIcYyEpxt feRr8g//f48GCxxfkpKMwHncPePb/3TmAZeso8qslLFnd0D5hTObVbDl08VYA9g5 e6HmP0/8K0h+isa9kAF2cov9NL7sbH7netMAgT6843D6b5uOJrd4SciqlR7OW94m eNbztRkM4zd+AU46dIRqntpFqcgMQP9Cy8y8oTigcjjH7jjZWwBAN1QgaFw2nY53 Jioq/NyLbJyeGQZ+LDWU71hQO+GmysnDeMXTu0TN+uwY6wrTcSsBIwjS1aJUkSAU ZoENfRokW65V0kiSyb8/A2VooYyiXMaMKznwtGzwduKyub88pqMElqiiCQlBVtz+ Fbc7lgTifFatS8vwOrAbF06Mr+rIyPe2upoytdMwfIXtVzXcZ4Bfndet4ggqpSx2 32Pz7MKWHMH+NsI6+ms9EfdDSwcWFDk3sCsXK/24/FKhMCprA7EtjCxFtdbVZw1r rZEAH0YqTnx4emrngU5tHEk+UA1WxakKDtwNMiCTe05vwDfW6BDaj/d3eKNRyBKR 92iby9155te3rmvI7xZy5RYxUXVkxxNRgW0f6iEJ1/OkjHnfyl3EhWB12ya/+pjU mVfgtXq7CXVRLCSAkVADNlLsKh5lP1ys4jg8OgIuC9RKWcFMl56N+Y4WzI/3JBx8 ZtL8ypPykDFIGky12FhK6Ujuh0cnK2cnaU2bvEd+bM6foQcZ5nM= =ytWV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/hQlAaSE3u0AG2+JOe7lm0i1--
