Are you sure about this?

$ xmllint --noout --schema metadata.xsd /var/db/repos/gentoo/sci-libs/spqr/metadata.xml
/var/db/repos/gentoo/sci-libs/spqr/metadata.xml validates

What validator do you use for this?
