Dear all,
while we have taken a lot of time and called for feedback repeatedly, in the
December 2015 meeting the council has decided (among other things, see [1])
* that /usr/games and /etc/games should not be used anymore
* that games.eclass should not be used anymore
* that games.eclass may not provide support for EAPI=6
This is to announce that starting with the next portage release, repoman will
consider games.eclass deprecated and issue a QA warning if it is used in an
ebuild.
