Ah but that's the thing - it *isn't* their job.
They are volunteering. That's a very different construct.
And yes, you do have to work around deficiencies created by others.
That's pretty much the essence of volunteer-based collaboration. So fun!

automatic GLEP63-compliant key generation! Sweet! You deserve to
publish it somewhere. Anything gentoo.org please. :)
