You have to ask the one who implemented that. Maybe it was for performance reasons (dynamic-deps cause a lot of overhead themselves...), maybe just because it was hard to implement it properly. Feel free to provide a patch. Just please don't forget that you shouldn't write the updates before emerge finishes updates or starts depclean on relevant packages, so that the installed package dependency tree doesn't end up being broken. --=20 Best regards, Micha=B3 G=F3rny --Sig_/5jwBFutKs0zu48WfmfEDdcs Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQJ8BAEBCgBmBQJT1WvBXxSAAAAAAC4AKGlzc3Vlci1mcHJAbm90YXRpb25zLm9w ZW5wZ3AuZmlmdGhob3JzZW1hbi5uZXQ2REJCMDdDQzRGMERBRDA2RUEwQUZFNDFC MDdBMUFFQUVGQjQ0NjRFAAoJELB6GurvtEZOmQIQAKNLqvDplhGMqXhMZ2v/h9fA HZSKcHcKUcGEmgDQLAyQuSfE8hMw4Nz/huZ6QVprkvcfcvDj5+UR7vXnKTu2pWrM RwkaWavjahIHrayqf1g7v01ssEpdlBJaIxfIK6Tq9RSW7VIXzGiw9Yh1N7wnw7ij /lcMJN2DThle+QuA7eELkrBQLeYd6d7NVhsuYBxfghtvH3tgFU7mfulT+beszoIt nAU05lNe3aM2slNxr0SK4YYLq1ChaDFM/HtsAVZPFbHoT8kflTYY70k7Q2rINpT7 b3ktSEMzB/9cS+ZlQzpm59w/usca7l4jcANoYvP6cSLSR/9RNoE/SZNnoKpHMT90 gv+dC1gmZcVF9avZ06IXWcBRl60LxvrLJAseP68oidqMU6yIuT6WhjeoecoWzhDb tX2X+WLLiYhFiJL9MApz2UnCgM9+tnMBhR9YOmbgZUc69VtQdSRSfq0BXUiO83dl s1GspmZYg5EfHdNRdJ0O0YCBwzNrCeTYkTlhLcAxy9K3xzwYOV81ZlAuoYvnRu/S 1trlfP41dZYSumGR6ARFuqXn3pSOhtPnmGp/H4M620a7+1WOeYl8go6WyC7m058q I346G9WksCIO/DWTTvu+kALuHBcXDSYLKp2MsygxK4GhtD/nYjBJ9+isuCcoUBXj scEVUb2VggmAZU9LX98T =LBrV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/5jwBFutKs0zu48WfmfEDdcs--
