Because it's everyone else that *always* does something wrong,
and the rising number of work-arounds in the eclass just proves you're
doing it the correct way.

It's sad that decisions are made by man who *does not care* about most
of the real-life things but cares much for his own precious tools that
get priority over eclasses, and whenever they are essentially broken
by design, you say that the world is actually broken and they
are the only fine thing.
