New global USE flag 'qrcode' for the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code (sorry, page didn't load for me so I hope it's okay)
I propose 'Enable support for 2D QR Codes' ?

And one that's missing from this list, xfce-extra/xfce4-clipman-plugin
has USE="qrcode" since yesterday too.

And app-office/glabels has USE="barcode" but it also pulls in
app-text/barcode, so likely it can do normal barcodes too, not just QR
codes, so it can propably stay as-is.

This is a little bit hairy..

How will qrcode relate to barcode? Since they are intimately related
in practice I (as a user) would expect such global USE flags to also
be related.

One could argue that barcode is a superset of qrcode and thus perhaps
having a more specific flag isn't sensible unless there are actually
ebuilds/upstreams which allow such fine grain control of what codes
are supported?

+1 .. unless these packages specifically need both flags, one for
general barcode support (or all non-QRcode barcode support) and one
for QR-codes, it would probably be best to make the use flag generic
to cover all barcode types.
