This is comparable to survival of the fittest; you can't just pick an
animal and have it be a success in a circus, you'd need to careful to
see which animal is fit for it and learn it all the tricks. Only then
people will come, watch and come back later...

(Cirque du Soleil thinks outside of the box and doesn't use animals)
