how about putting up a webpage documenting your script policies? Just to 
shorten discussions like this one...

The page need not be elaborate, but you could link to it in the bugreports. 
Something like

This bug has been filed automatically, see http://...

(and to everyone else, please don't complain about the extra text line in your 
bugmails now!)
