Agreed. That's why there are last rights announcements with a 30 day delay before the package is actually removed. That is also why we allow people to proxy-maintain packages. In a nutshell, the people complaining about removals should stop complaining and start volunteering to maintain either the packages, or set up some place on github or some other service and maintain the software so we can package it.
