That's true. Openrc is not really a full init system. It is a set of init scripts, with a large part of its functionality written in c instead of using shell scripts. In light of this, I have s/init system/init scripts/ in the news item. I will wait a few days and send it out again after I encorporate any other changes that come from the list. William
