I just tested this, and make.conf overrides iuse defaults. To verify this for yourself, pick a package with an iuse default turning on a flag, then turn off the flag in make.conf and check what would happen if you emerged the package. package.use overrides for a single package, but make.conf overrides for all of your system. --=20 William Hubbs gentoo accessibility team lead williamh@gentoo.org --VbJkn9YxBvnuCH5J Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.11 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkrnNOkACgkQblQW9DDEZTgnVgCfc2LG9DRRdNvyoy5+Wg/OBQ0W bGEAn3e65GM6sdi737wnzfV4sJBaxT7A =RfgB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --VbJkn9YxBvnuCH5J--
