If I interpreted= =20 the changelogs correctly, since eselect-python-20090801 /usr/bin/python is = no=20 longer a symlink, but a wrapper. I find this a questionable idea simply for the overhead it causes, but it=20 seems that this breaks all init-scripts using start-stop-daemon for python= =20 scripts. Example: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D286191 (same issue happens with some self-written python daemons we're using on ou= r=20 servers) I don't know what the reasons were for the change from symlinks to a wrappe= r,=20 but if it should stay the way it is, we need a fix for those issues. =2D-=20 Hanno B=C3=B6ck Blog: http://www.hboeck.de/ GPG: 3DBD3B20 Jabber/Mail: hanno@hboeck.de --nextPart11516076.XRhTkprU3D Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.13 (GNU/Linux) iEUEABECAAYFAkrI6jEACgkQr2QksT29OyBINwCWMj3Ulig7pgzdSEc7hXh64XGV 4QCgoB+w9/Qs2nrVuLhJs1ZtlSXOySY= =z1Hg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart11516076.XRhTkprU3D--
