The only possible change to GLEP 55 performance-wise is in the file name recognition, and that's so obviously not an issue that there's no way anyone can take it seriously. Unless you seriously think he's claiming that GLEP 55 does away with the need for storing EAPI in metadata cache, which is even more obviously nonsense...
