Hello list,
A user recently filled bug #216300
(https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216300) which is about changing
jabber USE flag to xmpp. Here is user's comment:

doing a global change from "jabber" to "xmpp" sounds sane. just put in the
use.desc description for xmpp something like "(used to be called jabber)" and
things should be peachy.

xmpp is the way to go as it describes the underlying protocol.
