Hi!

So im wondering, and i have not really done any research, if this has been
up on discussion before..
but, wouldnt it be a pretty neat thing to do, to make "emerge --sync" do a
diff on your /usr/portage compared to the remote repository.

Then, just merge the differences.

Would obviously make alot of sense, if you do, say, daily emerge --sync's.
(so you could like check if the diff became more than X lines, then just
clear /usr/portage (as it does today))

Sounds like a good idea, in my head, atleast...
