Yes, I have no objections to there being rules about what can and cannot be added to the tree, and the ones in your devmanual are clearly sensible and should be applied. I do however object to the suggestion that adding a package to the tree be subject to formal approval (by whom, for a start...). -- Kevin F. Quinn
