Because there are legitimate reasons for turning it off. They're just significantly less likely to occur than the reasons for wanting it turned on. And of course, if you don't use any apps that have IUSE=3D"emboss", the default value of the USE flag is entirely irrelevant to you. --=20 Ciaran McCreesh : Gentoo Developer (I can kill you with my brain) Mail : ciaranm at gentoo.org Web : http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm --Sig_pe=FtmQzJuHja9r/gXHonXm Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDsE0196zL6DUtXhERAvzTAJ9SM2n9EIXS2NoxFPYyAwC3tsihtQCgyaiE OmKk/7TrNxT0iLwUrfL/NvI= =HXRC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_pe=FtmQzJuHja9r/gXHonXm-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
