sorry there hasn't happened much yet wrt dvd::rip
the system i worked on with dvdrip had a disk die, art of a md0, system is
gone, so i too reinstall, some real life worries and usual lack of enough
time for everything

i started out keeping icewm maintained, and eventually took on other things

short version is better i guess: we always appreciate user contributions, if i
am slow, it does not represent any lack of interest

between you and chandler dvd::rip s hould stay, one concern is that transcode
1 i had on the laptop, on the system dvd::rip worked on has 0.6.14, when i
tried dvd::rip on here, it seems to have finished the plugin scan the hangs,
scanning plugins was what i did on the XP, then the hdd died :)

i too am frightened to see good working apps go, i still consider readding
kcpuload which worked then was gone, works still well from an overlay ;)

you get the idea

i will add your email to the dvd::rip filter in kmail so i hopefully do not
miss things

wife's surgery is friday, so i don't expect to do much before then

Thanks,

Daniel Goller
