Easier, and saner to just plain drop the subdomain notion. Avoids the=20 whole gentoo personel first class/second class issue first of all,=20 second avoids infra aliasing annoyances. Note also that retired.gentoo.org shouldn't really accomplish=20 anything, unless the dev is able to send through the account (if they're=20 retired, I would posit they shouldn't be able to). > deltacow stated that in IRC... and my response to that is: "that is > what IRC cloaks are for". Subject for another glep I'd think, although tbh not something I=20 personally have much interest in- rules and conventions across=20 channels vary fairly massively. I wouldn't be too happy if the=20 language requirement wound up forced on #gentoo-portage for example=20 (nor do I suspect would the hardened crowd) :) ~harring --KdquIMZPjGJQvRdI Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFDf6nuvdBxRoA3VU0RArrMAKDAL/8jDYuR82Y0yXAmh5G7DxFa6gCcDVcr B+yvNIDIhl8fhjtbHVcihMI= =ce8g -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --KdquIMZPjGJQvRdI-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
