The reason of this is that it seems to cause crashes in iTunes 6 clients (s= ee=20 bug #109490), and it's dead upstream. Instead of this, you can use mt-daapd= =20 that is actively maintained by upstream, and seems to work just fine with n= ew=20 version of iTunes clients. Note: the big drawback of mt-daapd not being able to cross different=20 filesystem bounds can be worked around using more than one mt-daapd service. Next version (0.3.0) will anyway fix that definitively. =2D-=20 Diego "Flameeyes" Petten=F2 - http://dev.gentoo.org/~flameeyes/ Gentoo/ALT lead, Gentoo/FreeBSD, Video, AMD64, Sound, PAM, KDE --nextPart3539461.6vcac9q9v2 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDZOXse2h1+2mHVWMRAmBKAJ9rGJKzg8DoTkKAU54SpQw18o3utwCcC+Ut LMau0cT6DsaNXOf9ZQVV4Ks= =2ssa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart3539461.6vcac9q9v2-- -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
